This is all very essential-
That was dictated to me by Krishna,
Sculpted from tectonic cracks,
By the sound of a sick, melting heart.
And then round-head Buddha forgives me –
With the sound of his voice from nowhere.

This is all very important –
You’ll work yourself into a lather,
In drops of rain you just exude, its spirit
Floats up, comes down.

This is all very gorgeous -
Work, sweat, do not stoop.
In work you will straighten out your spine
In sight of a frozen lake, of running water.

The icy drops of melting snow will run
Down your straightened shoulders.

Это мне надиктовал Кришна,
Скроенный из пластин в трещинах,
Звуком тающего, больного сердца.
И да простит мне круглоголовый Будда -

Работай, 'потом изойди, не горбись.
Ты в работе выпрямишь позвоночник
С видом на озеро ледяное, на воду проточную.

Капли потекут расплавленные
На плечи твои расправленые
